If you are (like me) waiting for the installer to arrive with a MySKY HDi unit in the next few weeks be sure to check out the conversation going on over at GeekZone.

Here you will find a good overview of the new features and pros & con’s of upgrading to this new service.

Some comments about the Sky website in essence paint a poor picture of the quality and quantity of information Sky has released to date explaining the new system to its customers.

To be fair to Sky it was always going to be a hard battle to pitch the level of tech speak ‘just right’ but I am surprised that Sky didn’t just provide a couple of options on its site for more advanced users of their gear to navigate to and digest all the techie details they wanted.

For my part I found the Sky website too simplistic in its pitch.
