My Vista box keeps giving me grief. I pulled a DVB-T card and DVD drive out and things seem more stable but when I look at the performance ratings the OS is reporting I’m wondering if the shiny new 360 gig drive I bought should be put into service with a fresh install.

It’s always hard to know weather to pull the pin and start from scratch or not.

I’m looking forward to building a home server so I have some further backup flexibility down the track with files and in particular digital photos.
