Sydney – Day 2

It’s been a smooth start to my time here in Sydney.

The temps do take some getting used too and from a purely tourist point of view the hustle and bustle of the place is very evident.

ALIA rolls on with a number of interesting speakers interspursed wth a few dry ‘i’m reading from the powerpoint’ presentations.

A great talk yesterday about ‘being happy’ and ‘games in libraries’ got me thinking.

I also enjoyed a talk that showed how mash-ups between flickr and google maps were adding value to collections showcased by the Australian War Memorial.

A que is forming for the laptops at the Internet lounge as I write this so must sign off.
