Catching up with your grandfather via the net

In a few months time I’m planning to travel north and visit my grandfather to celebrate his 99th birthday with him.
Although its been over 12 months since we last saw each other we caught up face to face today for the first time via video call using MSN messenger.
At 98 years old he’s now a broadband and wireless enabled user set up with a web cam.
I guess you could say he’s my role model when it comes to be open to new tech and change in general.
Aged in his 70′s (at the time) he was happy to buy and learn his way around a new home pc – that’s pretty cool in my books.
Imagine being 98 and seeing your great grandchildren for the first time in 5 years – with a new broadband / webcam setup he did just that today.
When I’m 98 I wonder what rabbit I will be able to pull out of the hat to wow my grandson?

Nancy (88) younger sister of the above grandfather is also on the Internet. She has skype, and webcam, broadband and uses the Internet to download jigsaw puzzles and also uses email.
