Updated Design

Today I’ve started to make further changes to my sites design and content.

For the last few weeks I’ve been working on porting an andreasviklund.com inspired design across to the WordPress CMS that I’m now using to generate the nice standards compliant code on this site. This has not been without its challenges but it’s been fun to get this far so quickly.

For now I’m going to drop quite a bit of my site content and gradually work to build up some new material.

  • Hi Paul,

Like the crisp clean design (Red and Black for Canterbury?). I think today less or more with webdesign and like what you have.

Who are you hosting with? I was with Go Daddy but wasn’t happy with the cost or the service so migrated to a free wordpress site.

But now I’m getting frustrated with the lack of decent templates and the inability to customize the CSS (not to mention having to pay to be able to use my URL registered somewhere else!).

    • Thanks Dene for your kind feedback – to be honest the red and black was coincidental but (as it turns out) timely.

I’m using a company called Kiwi Web Hosting New Zealand and have been with them for a few years now.

On the whole they have been ok but I have had a few rough patches with them in recent years – I can email you with info if you want to know more.

  • That should be less is more…
