Stuart Hayton RIP
On Sunday May 22nd my grandfather Stuart Hayton died at the age of one hundred and a half years.
I will miss him terribly and plan to post more about my grandfathers remarkable life in due course.
So you will understand that the last seven days (as I write this) have been hectic and emotional for me.
During this last week I have:
- Worked and completed a group project worth 15% of the final marks of the university paper I am studying this semester my group went on to achieve an A+ mark.
- Travelled to New Plymouth to attend my grandfathers funeral where I delivered a reading and was a pallbearer for his coffin.
- Completed and submitted a scholarship application to further professional studies I wish to undertake.
- Studied for a university final exam that occurs on June 1st and is worth 50% of the final marks for the paper.
May 2011 it seems had a lot in store for me – wonder what June has in store?

Stuart was a wonderful role model as a person, uncle, brother. He was generous, thoughtful and knew how to live life well.
Top marks from your examiners..congratulations, especially during this full on time.
