Funny day of highs and lows.

The sad bit was seeing a poor little lad of not more than five years of age led by the hand with his father while I was out walking at lunchtime.

The chap was wearing just a summer t-shirt and coughing loudly whilst the parent seemed oblivious.

Father was well rugged up and the max temp here today was around 11 degrees with snow on the hills.

I honestly despair at plight of some of our youngsters.

The funny bit was on the way home pulling up behind a car and reading the wording surrounding the license plate.

It read at the top ‘I love animals’ and underneath it said ‘they’re good to eat’

OK so not the most politically correct thing in the world to have out there on public display but at 5.15pm on my way home tired and ready for dinner it worked for me.
