WordPress 2.9
After updating my blog software to this latest release I have to say I’m very happy with it. There have been a few nice extra features added and a bunch of bug fixes as well. If you have not updated your blog software for a while I suggest you download this version and act now!

Jackson brings down the internet
For several hours as folks first strove to hear the news of Jackson’s death then reacted to it by posting, blogging etc. the Internet slowed significantly. Sites like TMZ.COM and the LA Times fielded massive increases in the number of hits and slowed to a halt. I like this artists take on the Twitter ‘fail whale’
