E-Books
Just saw a great presentation on the use of e-books at La Trobe University. A nursing cohort followed over 3-4 years embraced e-books but (and there’s always a but) their recall of use was heavily dependant upon their lecturers use of e-books in reading list material. Sydney – Day 2
It’s been a smooth start to my time here in Sydney. The temps do take some getting used too and from a purely tourist point of view the hustle and bustle of the place is very evident. ALIA rolls on with a number of interesting speakers interspursed wth a few dry ‘i’m reading from the powerpoint’ presentations. Sydney – Day 1
Here I am typing this from the Internet lounge at the ALIA information online conference at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre.
