Funny day of highs and lows. The sad bit was seeing a poor little lad of not more than five years of age led by the hand with his father while I was out walking at lunchtime. Sunday has been a day of rest after waking up to the pouring rain and doing my best to ignore it and anything beyond the bed covers. The sole bit of venturing outside was a quick sprint to the vegetable garden to dig up some yams for dinner this evening. I can report that when roasted they were very nice indeed.
