Reed Gallery Online
A short plug for my employers new exhibition launched today at the Dunedin Public Libraries Reed Gallery. The exhibition entitled Signs & Symbols: Decoding Mediaeval & Renaissance Iconography explores the meanings behind the symbols and visual cues found in mediaeval and Renaissance manuscripts. Snow Day
What a day. As you may know New Zealand has been plunged in to a very cold weather event bringing with it snow and freezing temperatures to much of the country over the last 24 hours. Food for Fines
The last few days at work have been busy with the launch of a month long fees amnesty. The concept is that you can return library books that have overdue fees associated with them and have the fees wiped in exchange for cans of food.
